Custom Fabrication

The words custom and fabrication are used too loosely in this industry. We have the style training and equipment to create the custom parts that make our motorcycles stand out from the crowd of "store bought" or "bolt on" Bikes. We can build anything from custom stainless steel handlebars to a one-off custom fuel tank. We don't mean a bunch of flat sheets bent over your knee and welded together for a fuel tank either.

Custom doesn't mean that your Texas chopper is custom because it has a different paint job then than the 9 others parked next to yours. Custom is a bike that was built just for you. No other like it in the world.

Just because you ground down and bent the exhaust bracket that came with the pipes you bought, doesn't mean it's now a fabricated piece. A Home Depot steel rod bent like a spider web, doesn't classify as custom or fabricated. Fabrication is not modifying an existing part, but creating a new one from scratch.

Shop

James Custom Cycle started out in 1997 in a one bay shop in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Working on everything from pro street cars, show trucks and motorcycles to doing custom work on all types. We saw the need for a true custom Harley shop.

After doing some minor work for local Harley owners, we quickly realized the bolting on wheels and pipes wasn't even close to the type of bikes we thought were cool. Since then, we have progressed into a full service custom motorcycle shop. We now have a service area, full showroom and fabrication shop equipped with a power hammer, pull max, 2 planishing hammers, tube bender, and a wide assortment of metal shaping tools.

We also have in-house machining capabilities.

We are also equipped with Millen Mig and TIG welding machines.
